Kermit the frog, is defiantly no relative of Dr. Kermit Gosnell. Dr. Gosnell was an abortion doctor who was more apt to have minorities, immigrants and poor women as patients. He is now being charged with eight counts of murder. Reportedly a patient of his died along with seven babies that were born alive and killed with scissors. Since 1993 there had been complaints about him but state regulators did not check into his clinic. Dr. Gosnell, his wife and eight other colleagues were arrested after an investigation from the Grand Jury. It has been reported that during the sixth, seventh or eighth month of a pregnancy, he induced labor. The babies were then born alive, that is when he would take a scissors and cut into the back of the babies' necks to sever their spinal cord, resulting in death.
This is the most horrible thing that anyone could possibly do. Not only is it hard enough for a mom to have an abortion but making the baby be born and then killing it. That has to amplify the hardness factor by a ton. Not only was he risking peoples' lives but he had a high school student performing anesthesia with lethal narcotics. He has at least ten malpractice suits against him. One of which include a woman's death from sepsis and a perforated uterus. The way he killed babies and the treatment and care he provided for his female patients was totally wrong and he deserves to lose his license and go to jail for murder. Under the law he committed murder.

93 and 8 years in jail
John 'Sonny' Franzese, is a ninety-three year old, mobster back from Frank Sinatra's time. A judge has sentenced him to eight years in prison. He was known for being able to make people disappear. In 2006 he was caught on tape describing his favorite ways to make people disappear. This is not his first run in with the law, his record started as a teenager in 1938 with an assault charge. He was quoted saying this in his latest court papers, "Today, you can't have a body no more. It is better to take that half an hour, an hour, to get rid of the body than it is just to leave the body in the street."
The defense attorney says that he should be allowed to live out the rest of his life with his family due to a declining health condition. To this I think that it is totally wrong, many people are put into jail for life and they get cancer or are dying due to a health ailment, and they are not allowed to go and live with their families until they die. He needs to face up to the fact that he killed people and he now has to pay for it. He has gotten away with murder for far too long.

On the way to recovery?
Barack Obama said that we are finally digging out of the whole we have gotten in. The unemployment rate has dropped from 9.8 to 9.4%, this last December. In the last 12 months the amount of jobs in the private sector has continuously been going up, this is the first time since 2006.
I do not think that there is any cause to celebrate about this because we just hit an enormous hole. 14 trillion dollars worth of a whole. Many people think that the recent passing of the 600 billion dollar stimulus package is to thank for the up rise in our economic state. As in many think that it is a good thing because it is helping our economy currently my providing jobs and money. Others know and understand that just dumping 600 billion dollars is dangerous it will help right away, but when the money runs out we will be in an even bigger hole than we have started with.

What is happening? Mosdesty is out the window!
After throwing out the levied 1.2 million dollar fine that FCC put on the show NYPD: BLUE for showing actress Charlotte Ross' bare butt, the U.S Second Circut Court just reiterated it decision on the Fox ruling against the FCC from airing curse words during the 2006 Billboard Music Awards. As a result to this ruling television networks now know that they can show half naked people and use any language they want, without having any repercussions. Steven Bocho says that it adds to the story line and makes it more interesting to the viewers.
I think that any self-respecting person would not show their naked body on television. There are way better ways to express one's self without cursing. Cursing just makes the person sound arrogant and to dumb to find the words to express themselves. For Steven Bocho to say that nudity adds to the story line, well it really doesn't. It just makes boys with raging hormones watch more. Every where girls look there is something to do with the female body and how it is "supposed" to look, unhealthily skinny, perfect hair and make up, and not a single flaw. Being allowed to curse and have nudity on television is just showing every other country in the world that we do not care what our image is and that we as a country our losing the modesty that our parents have distilled into us, like our grandparents into them. And for at what cost?

Pass the Gas
The most extensive financial incentives plan to reduce greenhouse gases was passed in California. 9-1 was the vote from the Air Resources Board on Thursday. Mary Nichols, chairwoman of California's air quality board, said, "We're inventing this, there is still going to be quite a bit of action needed before it becomes opperational."
I feel that the government should not tell us what we can and cannot do for the greenhouse emisions. I think that it is ok, however; to give incentives to people who want to make our planet safer to live on and make what little we have last a long time. The greenhouse gasses cannot be soley blamed on us though. That is like saying becasue of humans the "Great Ice Age," turned in to the "Melt Down." No, that is not what happened although we humans have helped pollute the earth with our cars and big factories, a lot of the stuff is naturally occuring and not everything is our fault. We can point fingers at who is to blame, but that wont get us anywhere. I feel that if we want to do something or feel compelled to do something than we should act, but we should not be forced to act on something we do not feel is important.

$315K
Julian Assange, the founder of wikileakes, has bail that is set at $315,000. He was being held in solitary confinement for his protection, for sexual assult charges from Sweden. Espionage charges, from the U.S. Many of his supporters have offered to help pay his bail, Micheal Moore pledged 20,000 pounds do his bail. The lawyer of the two Swedish women, said that the sexual assult charges are in no way politically motivated, and that the acusation angered the women.
If Assange, got all of the information on his own then he should be charged with espionage. If he was supplied the information, whoever supplied it to him should be charged with treason. Being supplied the information and then publishing it is not a crime. But if he knew that national security and alliances could be broken for the U.S., he should get into trouble because he knew.

Being Flagged for Prayer
In Tacoma, Washington, a high school football players was flagged for dropping to his knee and pointing to the sky after making a touch down. Ronnie Hastie, the Tumwater High School running back, says that he does that everytime he makes a touch down. "I play for God, he is the one that gives me the strength." For this act of "unsportsman like conduct." Apparently he broke the rules by drawing attention to himeself.
I totally think that is an unfair call, he was drawing no more attention to himself than other players do when they do those silly little dances or jump on top of other players after making touch downs. It is totally rediculas that they would be penalized fifteen yards for Hastie dropping to his knee and point up at the sky. He has never gotten into trouble before for doing the exact samething so why now, would he all of a sudden get into trouble for it. I feel that a referee was up set with them for some reason, he probably didnt like the Ronnie or he was paid off, or threatened in some way to through the game. If this is to be considered a bout of unsportsman like conduct everytime anyone celebrates getting a touch down, there should be a fifteen yard penalty.
